| On December 13th, 2009, Team COW will set out on a quest in becoming the next Africa Rally Champions. Keegan Warrington and Tate Koenig, adventurists, will embark on the adventure of a lifetime. They will drive a small unsuitable vehicle in an attempt to race across a quarter of the planet from London, England to Kribi, Cameroon. Aside from the qualifications required to participate in the race, there are two simple rule: the car engine must be smaller than 1.2 liters (VERY SMALL) and the team cannot call for backup. In the event that team COW gets tossed into a Nigerian prison, or their vehicle breaks down in the Sahara, the team must fight out of their obstacle using their wits, charm, and determination. You might be asking yourself: What in the world are these guys thinking? Simply, the guys believe that by participating in this unique and exciting race, Team COW will generate more exposure towards the cause and the supporting sponsors. Our supporters, the herd, will become a part of this adventure by following the action through our blog and various media updates. The engagement will allow people to discover our cause and help raise money for our supporting charities. |

For the incredible journey, the COW team has chosen to operate a 1986 Suzuki Samurai. Aside from looking stylish, this litle guy has the capability of topping out at 60mph!!! With a little luck and a lot of determination, the Samurai will serve as the home for our adventurists as they take on the Africa Rally. After arriving at the final destination, the Samurai will be auctioned off with all proceeds donated to charity. |
